Comprehensive Legal Framework Governing Our Artisanal Leather Products

CRITICAL NOTICE

By placing an order with F. Sons Leathercraft, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined below. These terms constitute a legally binding contract between you and F. Sons Leathercraft. Please read thoroughly before proceeding with any transaction.

Exclusively Made-to-Order

Every item is meticulously handcrafted after order confirmation. No inventory, no ready stock - only bespoke craftsmanship.

Premium Leather Commitment

100% genuine animal leather exclusively. No rexin, faux leather, or synthetic materials. Only sheep, goat, cow, and camel leathers sourced ethically.

Halal Certified Materials

All leather is sourced from Halal-slaughtered animals, processed according to Islamic principles with proper blessings.

30-Day Quality Warranty

Comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defects for 30 days from delivery date. Covers stitching, hardware, and construction.

Secure Payment Structure

50% advance to initiate production, 50% balance before dispatch. Bank Transfer, EasyPaisa only.

8-Hour Cancellation Window

Orders can be cancelled within 8 hours of payment verification. Post-production, cancellations not permitted.

1. Ordering & Payment Protocol

1.1 Order Confirmation Process

  1. Initial Inquiry: Customer submits order request via website, WhatsApp, or direct contact
  2. Order Verification: Our team confirms product specifications, measurements, and customization details
  3. Payment Link Generation: Unique payment link/invoice generated with 50% advance requirement
  4. Advance Payment (50%): Order officially enters production queue only after advance payment verification

1.2 Two-Stage Payment Structure

Stage 1: Production Advance (50%)

Required to:

  • Reserve premium leather from our curated stock
  • Allocate artisan time and workshop capacity
  • Procure specialized hardware and fittings
  • Cover initial material costs and pattern creation

Stage 2: Balance Payment (50%)

TRIGGER POINT:

Balance payment is automatically triggered when:

  • Product crafting is 80% complete
  • Quality inspection at intermediate stage is passed
  • Product enters final finishing phase

Dispatch will NOT occur until full payment is received and verified.

1.3 Absolute No-COD Policy

F. Sons Leathercraft operates on a STRICT NO CASH-ON-DELIVERY basis. This policy is non-negotiable due to:

  • Bespoke nature of every product (cannot be resold)
  • Premium material commitment (100% genuine leather per order)
  • Artisan labor investment (custom measurements and design)
  • Financial sustainability of traditional craftsmanship

2.3 Factors Affecting Timeline

  • National holidays or unforeseen circumstances
  • Shipping carrier schedules (for international orders)

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation Timeframes

Full Refund Period (0-8 Hours)

Condition: Cancellation request received within 8 hours of payment verification

  • 100% refund of advance payment
  • No questions asked policy
  • Refund processed within 5-7 business days

Partial Refund Period (8-24 Hours)

Condition: Cancellation request received between 8-24 hours after payment verification

  • 75% refund of advance payment
  • 25% retained as material procurement fee
  • Leather reserved for order cannot be reused

No Cancellation Period (After 24 Hours)

Condition: Production has commenced (leather cut, patterns made)

  • No cancellation permitted
  • No refund of advance payment
  • Order will be completed and shipped
  • Balance payment still required for delivery

3.2 Non-Cancellable Orders

The following orders cannot be cancelled under any circumstances:

  • Orders with custom monograms or personalization
  • Bulk orders (5+ items)
  • Corporate/business orders
  • International shipments
  • Special leather types (camel, exotic finishes)

4. Leather Specification & Quality

4.2 Natural Leather Characteristics

Important: The following are NOT defects but natural characteristics of premium leather:

  • Natural grain variations and texture differences
  • Small scars, insect bites, or stretch marks from animal life
  • Variations in dye absorption causing slight color differences
  • Characteristic leather scent (not chemical odor)
  • Patina development over time (sign of quality leather)
  • Softening and creasing with use (normal wear pattern)

5. Warranty & After-Sales

5.1 30-Day Comprehensive Warranty

  • Stitching failure or unraveling
  • Hardware malfunction (zippers, buckles)
  • Construction defects
  • Adhesive failure
  • Color bleeding (manufacturing defect)
  • Lining detachment

Not Covered Under Warranty

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper care or maintenance
  • Accidental damage
  • Exposure to extreme conditions
  • Alterations by third parties
  • Natural leather characteristics

5.2 Warranty Claim Process

  1. Notify customer service within warranty period
  2. Provide order number and clear photos of issue
  3. Our quality team assesses claim (2-3 business days)
  4. If approved: Repair, replacement, or refund offered
  5. Customer returns product (we cover shipping if valid claim)
  6. Resolution within 14 business days of receipt

6. Shipping & Delivery Terms

6.2 Delivery & Acceptance

  • Inspect package for damage before accepting delivery
  • Refuse delivery if package shows significant damage
  • Sign delivery receipt only after inspection
  • Report any transit damage within 24 hours
  • Unclaimed packages returned after 7 days
  • Return shipping charges apply for unclaimed orders

7. Legal & Intellectual Property

  • All designs, patterns, and product configurations are intellectual property of F. Sons Leathercraft
  • Custom designs created for clients remain our property; client receives limited license for personal use
  • Photographs, product images, and website content are copyright protected
  • Reverse engineering, copying, or mass production of our designs is strictly prohibited

7.2 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Jurisdiction: All terms governed by laws of Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall first attempt resolution through mutual negotiation

Arbitration: If negotiation fails, disputes resolved through arbitration in Karachi, Pakistan

Legal Fees: Prevailing party entitled to reasonable attorney fees in legal disputes

8. Limitation of Liability

F. Sons Leathercraft's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Damages from improper use or care
  • Third-party alterations or repairs
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, or force majeure events
  • Shipping carrier delays or damages (claims must be filed with carrier)

Final Acknowledgment

By proceeding with any transaction with F. Sons Leathercraft, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions outlined in this document. These terms supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.
